I saw the other day where VW and a few other manufacturers have dropped capped price servicing since Kia got into trouble with the ACCC for have "outs" to their capped price servicing.

I was at the dealership in Brisbane last Friday. Was quoted these figures for standard services for a 103TSI Wagon. Prices inclusive of GST.

Pollen filter and brake fluid recommended replacement - every 2nd service.

    15K - 12 months - $330
    30K - 24 months - $330 + $56 (pollen filter) + $138 (Brake Fluid) = $524
    45K - 36 months - $392
    60K - 48 months - $562 + 56 + $138 = $756
    75K - 60 months - $330
    90K - 72 months - $438 + $56 + $138 = $632

    Hope this helps.

The wording now is its capped for a year and can change at the beginning of the year and then fixed for the year again. Once again this could all change again with Holden bringing out there version of capped price servicing for life and old model car's get the same capped price servicing also. Let the capped price servicing wars begin.

Let me get this straight I bought a new Tiguan in November 2014 I got it writing that WV will supply fixed price servicing for 6 years at $333 per year for the first 6 years, Does it now mean I may be up for a more expensive servicing ?

No. You have an agreement with the selling dealer that you will pay $333 per service for 6 years.
