I'm going to take a slightly different tact here and say CONGRATULATIONS! It's GREAT NEWS to hear that you're fine after being in a crash that wrote off your car. The fact you're completely unscathed is simply testament to the fact VW build cars that are extremely safe. And it seems that in this instance, it's done exactly what it was meant to do, and that is to PROTECT YOU!

So I see this as a very good news post. Sure it's inconvenient to not have a car for a while, but you're alive and un-hurt, so congrats. Yeah we all fall in love with our cars but where one love affair ends, a new one is waiting to begin. Have a great weekend!

Shame to hear the cars gone mate, but so glad your well. As Rocket said, goes to show how safe VWs are made and I know for a fact that if you were in a different not so well made (korian) car, you would not be posting this right now....

He was speechless. He didn't know what to say. When he spoke, he turned around and said
