    Buying advice - TDI caddy

    Hi people,

Im looking at a 09 VW Caddy 1.9TDI and it has 55,000km on the clock which is decent for a 3 year old car. The books are stamped at 15,000km then 41,000 and its due for a 55,000km service now. What are your thoughts? Car looks clean and tidy, but are those service gaps too big and damage could be done???

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Could be worse.

You'd actually be up for the 60,000klm service, which is a biggie if an auto (DSG). Why workshops don't write the sticker to the next actual service, I'll never know. Have it checked over by the NRMA, or a VW specialist up your way, to see if it's alright. With such low kilometers on it, I'm guessing it's ok.

It's not uncommon for a commercial vehicle's owner to have a blase' approach to servicing.

So the 60k service is a big one? What gets done? Oil and all the filters?
