    Broken down Golf .

I just came back from the Sunshine Coast to southside of Brisbane and was confronted with a line of cars stopped
on the Gateway Bridge , right at the very highest part of the bridge was some poor sod whose Golf had given up the ghost blocking one lane . I was half tempted to stop and offer to see if he wanted so help to push it over the railing into the river .

Are we assuming it was a Mk7? Otherwise you've posted in the wrong forum.

If it was, I'd like to see the warranty claim after your offer of help. Cause of death: gravity.

Or the 'Door Ajar' indicator was showing, so they were waiting for a tow.

Seen that one a few times.

If in doubt, read the manual.

Apologies guys I am not a Golf owner but have been following the plight of Golf owners it was a general observation from like minded VW owner myself , sorry about the wrong one as I could not tell which model was broken down . Here is where I put on my dunce cap I could not tell you the difference between the last 3 models sorry . Oh Admin feel free to move it to an appropriate listing . If it was new I would doubt they would have got that far on wrong fuel .

Supposedly the new Golf 7 has a "Incorrect Fuel Filling Prevention" system on the TDI, so hopefully that might mitigate some of these breakdowns !
