Looks great, again, if Google Maps is anything to go by.

Seems the formula for the day is:
    1. Mountains (for both undulations and views)
    2. Corners
    3. Less traffic

Bummer. There aren't any gutters on our street, but I have noticed a wheel leaving the road on a few driveways when I am forced to go to civilisation.

I've driven over 100+ times in my RS Skoda wagon (lowered) and a few times now in the R Wagon without scraping. Its all in the angle!

Other good drives are Katoomba > Oberon via Jenolan Caves and Bucketty to Wollombi.

Ms Bossy and I did Mt Nebo and then drove and stay overnight at the Mercure Clear Mountain.

Clear mountain is a nice but short hilly drive with lots of tight curves and not so many cars

Lovely drive on her GTI PP

+1 on clear mountain. It's close enough to be my backyard

I use it frequently to scratch the itch

It's great to have something close by, even if it is a short one.

Mine's Hawkesbury Heights, on my daily drive. People come for Thursday night and weekend drives here, but these days I know the road so well it's only fun if there's zero traffic. If there's just one car, truck or push bike, it's all over, no passing opportunities.

I was in the centre 'lane' of the barge so perhaps I need to try the ones on each side next time

I enter at 30+deg angle and exit the same way, one wheel at a time.

From Nagambie to Lakes Entrance via the Great Alpine Road (carry chains in winter) and (if you've got a bit of ground clearance for 'unmade') back via Licola - Jamieson (closed in winter) both reaching ~ 6000ft.

ps - the section Harrietville to Hotham car park involves a, touch of Spa Francorchamps between St Bernard and the final steep climb to spectacular views from the car park.
    memorable!
