I have a 2009 Beetle, and I think it has a problem.Only weeks after I got it a loud squeak developed in the front end. The dealer checked it, and lubricated on the sway bars. A week or two later it came back and I decided to put up with it.Then I complained that the clutch was squeaking and my brakes were groaning. They claimed nothing was amiss - that the brakes were supposed to groan and they lubricated the clutch assembly. Now, my gear changes seem clunkier. Sometimes when I take off in first gear I get a shudder, mostly when up hill. And occasionally if I am cornering or encounter an irregularity in the road surface at low speed, the car seems to shimmy, or float somewhat. Should I be worried that an engine mount is shot? or is this just normal? It's due for the 2 year service, and wanted some advice, please, before I take it in. Am I being fobbed off?Would really appreciate some views, please
Take it to another dealer and see what they say.
