    The plank was bought in from 1994 in an effort to slow cars down. It was found that his car bottoming out contributed to Ayrton Senna's death, and hence why you don't see the sparks any more (which looked really cool!!).

    I imagine it would be kinda like comming off the freeway (after hours of driving) and having to do 50.

    I heard Lowndes did a 2:11 or so and Button did something like a 2:16. He only had two laps in the car, and the track hadn't rubbered up with grip the way it does across a V8 weekend.

    Great footage though.
