So.. Finally got all the pics from Thursday uploaded..

Heading out to Famoso, the back way from Bakersfield in Rick's Chev truck (everyone over there drives a bloody truck! haha). There's oil rigs(?) everywhere..

At the main gate waiting to get in. Just a spit in the ocean of how many RV's were there..

The worlds fastest Hampster (very basic dragster).

Unloading the Magicar from Rick's trailer..

    Dad steering.

The recreated "Barnstormer" originally campaigned by "TV" Tommy Ivo. Now owned by Ron Johnson.

Another new car. Can't remember who owned or ran this one. It didn't have much info. Cool looking blower with the wrinkle finish though..

    Gasser..

    Don Ewald's "Bank Americar"

    Tom Hanna's pushtruck.

Saw a few of these old bikes cruising around..

Tom Hanna's pit. The transporter is air conditioned and a work of art in itself. Glass sliding doors on the side and everything...

Hanna's ground up built Cacklecar. 492 Donovan, 8/71 supercharger and Donovan injection. This car is actually legal to current safety specs apart from the roll cage.. Just stunning.

Adams & (can't remember) AA/FD. This is the car that John "Zookeeper" Mulligan ran prior to the Beebe & Mulligan "Fighting Irish" '68 and '69 cars. (The '69 car John was burned in at Indy died from infection )

Just a few of Bucky Austin's cacklecars...

Tommy "Watchdog" Allen's recently recreated "Trick car". Given the name because of the "Trick" front end setup. Engine built by Rick Mcdonald..

Dad (bad photo.. Haha) with Pam Shavrien and Darrell Conrad. Two very nice people. They've done a couple of books called "Dragstrip Iron" and published a section called "Nitro Thunder Down Under" with the history and then the restoration of our car..

    Don and John Ewald's Pit..

Left- Johnny Mulligan and Right- Ed Donovan. Hanna made sure they both made it to the reunion this year..
