We live in a huge country, roads are expensive.

I don't think which way we vote will change that and to be honest, I'd be happy to pay more to get the local roads fixed.

Don't need the rest of that, the roads are just bad in general.

Consider for a minute that replacing EVERY road in Australia only once every 50 years would mean that 2% of our roads would have to be ripped up and rebuilt every year... Do you think we come even close to that number?
