    Your right, QLD transport now and again does a special where you can get a 7 digit plate, the offer comes and goes.

    I saw a chic driving a nice car , the number plate

    and i thought that was steep!

    Huh? No one is being forced to buy these premium plates. If some consumers choose to buy a set, then they feel it is worth their money. To link this to economic incompetence is absurd.

    I thought $90/yr in NSW was a ripoff.. $3k is outrageous (But atleast you own the plate.. in NSW you don't own even the plate anymore!)
