id check out tirerack. I paid $980 landed for 2x215/40/18s, 2x225/40/18 continental DWS (fairly expensive tyre from what I can tell)
being that yours are 17s im sure they will be a heap cheaper

I reckon that's pretty good. I haven't bought in 17s, but have spent nearly $500 each on similar spec rubber for 18s before (Goodyear F1 assyms). Last ones I bought were Pirelli P-Zero Neros at $350 or so.

Decided to go for some cheaper tyres because I'll probably sell next year. Kumho Ecsta KU31s. Not the best, but hopefully better than my Maxxis MA-V1s.

I got a set of 4x KU36 in that same size from Tempe for 600 fitted.

Just this week, I requested a shipping quote for 4x 235/45/17 Michelin Pilot Super Sport = ~1100usd at my door! Just trying to source some local pricing to find out what the actual saving vs local purchase/fitting/peace of mind .... just started a new job as Procureent Anaylst, so its rubbing off

I still have 2x KU36 on the rear.. had to replace 2 due to screws damage. Went with Bridgestone Adrenalin.

Review on the KU36, good cheap tyre, grippy and good feedback, however I found they just dont hold these characteristics for much more than 10-12K, heaps of tread left but their performance noticeably deteriorated. Didnt really bother me with 2 on the rear, thanks 4mo, but they are almost to safety marks hence replacing all 4 to move from 225 to 235 all round.

In brief, if you want to change tyres every 9-12mths then get the KU36, almost costs the same $ / km life with the better brands, but you keep younger tyres fitted.

I found that with similarly priced Maxxis tyres - great when new, after a few thousand km they're not nearly as effective.

I was quoted $205 each for the KU31s! I can get them for $140 each + $40 delivery (for two).

Ouch! I paid under $250 per tyre (inc shipping) for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics in 225/40 R18 from Tire Rack.
