    2010 Australian Formula 1 Experiences

I thought I'd start with a few of my pics from around Albert Park. There is SO much to process. Here's a few. Apologies for the quality but shooting high speed F1 cars isn't easy at the best of times - through a mesh fence makes it horrible. I couldn't focus it out entirely. And the FA18 Hornet was too far away. Oh well, I'm happy with how they turned out...

Was an AWESOME four days though... Such a great race too, edge of the seat stuff thanks to the changing weather!

Cheers! No worries. More to come once I have time to do the post processing, cropping, straightening etc. Each pic is about 12Mb raw and they all need work. I made all the ones above desktop wallpaper aspect ratio.

I didn't even have my tripod or monopod with me. Completely freehand. Thank god for decent Canon lenses! lol

On track and in the air was my 10.1mp Canon EOS 40D with Canon L-Series EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM lens.

Off track was my 10.1 mp Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7 point and shoot, which is great because its 35mm equiv. is 25-300mm. Plus built in 720p HD video recording. Still the best value for money point and shoot available imo.
