    Ah OK.... Well with a completely full car (cabin and boot) I drove 673km, from a servo in Canberra to a servo in Melbourne on one tank.

    Route: Antill St to Unknown road - Google Maps

    My range said 40km when I stopped to fill up so that's over 700km usable which is an average of less than 10 litres per 100km. Pretty happy with that!

    That's pretty good, most cars would get good economy on the highway. My GTI used two and a bit tanks from ACT to BNE.

    If i was geting paid well enough to buy an $80k car i wouldnt be too woried about fuel economy tbh.

    Which GTI has a 35 litre tank? LOL!!!

    Power does drink fuel though... I don't really mind TBH. I can comfortably not change the amount of driving I do unless fuel goes to more than $3 a litre.

    I was to spend about 50k and they fit nicely
    The S4 would be manual and around 70-80km
    The R36 around 30km
