So like mentioned by others 30mm spacers would work well.

On the rear scrub radius isn't an issue and you can space them as much as you'd like within the confines of your inner and outter clearance issues.

    Whats scrub radius?

If i have the same ET and wider wheels then the tyre will be closer to the suspention. Am i correct? This wont be an issue will it?

BTW im still going to take you up on that ride mate. I can stare at your sig for hrs.

Well as a comparison for inner clearance with an offset calculator a mk2 can run 16 x 9 et15.

Imagine the axis about which your front wheel turns, in most cases a theoretical line running down through the centre of the wheel and tire. If you fitted spacers this line would no longer bet through the middle of the tire meaning you have changed the scrub radius. Not avdisable to change it majorly without thinking more about the effects.

Hope you're coming to the BBQ 9th of March.
