    Will it fit? Noobie

Hey guys .. I drive a stock standard Passat wagon B7 with stock 17" rims (235/45). Wanting to change the rims, but no idea on fitment and compatibility. My "research" suggests it has an offset of 40-45. I've found a set of Audi Rotors 18 x 7.5. 225/40. with an offset ET51. Will it fit ? and will I have problems? Any advice will be appreciated. Cheers

Use a tool like this to calculate if they will fit. Alloy Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit but you might want to pop one of your current rims off to check the offset (embossed onto the back of the spokes it will say ETxx and it will also give you the specs eg 17x7.5)

The new wheels will physically bolt on, but the offset is typical VW/Audi specs so will likely be fine, but you might might to physically try one on the car before you commit.
