Where to look for old skool rims??

I want to find some cool old skool rims to fit a mk1.
    They gotta be 15" though.....
I'd love Ronals or maybe BBS with black centres.....
Hell i'd look at anything if it's cheap enough! (and old skool)

    Anyone know where to look??

    old skool wheels

Get Ronals and have a horses head on the front lawn.
    TassieGTI already runs them.
Got some classic BBS in 6 by 14 for $300

    Please!!

So do all the cars in the magazines get horse heads on their front lawn?
I don't think you're the first to put Ronals on a golf and you won't be the last! LOL.
The BBS would be nice but I want 15"

Are you not up with the news around town Golfwise?

Delux has purchased himself a silver MK1 GTi and is going to slam it with a set of Ronal turbos! Should be something different around Hobart

Ahhhh, the daddy and son team. You should listen to yourselves!
All I wanted was some advice on wheels not a bitch fest.
And no the car is not silver, you should know that though.

Can we get over it and just stick to some advice?

You say to be original. Maybe I'll go 20" rims just so people don't get our cars confused!
I've got two cars with rims that no-one else in tassie has, but so what?
I didn't make them. I bought them just like anyone else can.
There is more to a car than a set of wheels.
I can pick up a dozen magazines in this room featuring golfs with your exact wheel/tyre combo. But again so what? It looks good. It looks good on their cars, as it does on yours. But you can't say you're being original!!!
What are you gonna do? Shoot anyone who likes your wheels?

    ADVICE only thanks........

    Cheers.

Go back to your watercooled freinds you've lost some here .
The horse 's head bit was said in fun but you have no humour .Sad that.
    You 've made your bed.
