Where to get a wheel alignment done in Sydney?

    Hi all,

I need to get a wheel alignment done on my Bora V6 4Motion, and I want it done properly.

I live near Parramatta and work in Gordon (in Sydney!), so anywhere around/between the two would be ideal. I've had one suggestion to go to a place at Tempe, but it's just too far out of my way.

    Any recommendations?

I have heard a few on this forum recommend Granville Pedders. Close to where you live!

Big O's in Moorebank do a good job, and know their euro's. They charged me $35 last time.

The only place I'd recomend is Heasemans at Tempe/St.Peters. He'll charge you "lots" but it's worth it.

If you couldn't be bothered driving that far then why not give Seb a ring and ask him who he recomends (he's out that way isn't he?).

Seb mentioned a place at Tempe - so that's probably the same one!

It's not a matter of "couldn't be bothered" - I work 10 hours a day five days a week and then have Uni on top of that!

That said, if that's where I need to go, I guess that's where I need to go.

Sorry, substitute "haven't got time", "too far away", etc as required. Didn't mean it to sound nasty.

I'm sure there are other people that can do a good job. The main reason I go to Doug is that he's not too far away (15km & near the station) & he was always happy to share his knowledge when I was doing wheel alignments 20 years back, so I'm kind-of repaying a debt.

The last 4 wheel alignment I got done on the Liberty was $130. The Golf was $70 just for the front.

The other place I've used is Excellor Steering near Bankstown but I think he retired.

Surely in a city of 4.5million people there are more than 2 that can handle a wheel alignment?

Are these both for just front wheeled alignments? I need to look for a 4-wheel alignment when i put my coils in.

They just did the fronts on mine, stopped it from steering to the left. And if Big O's is good enough for my mate who takes his M3 there, its good enough for me!
