Which wheels for my Mk5 GT TDi?

Well it looks like I'm going to have to go for the Detroits anyway. Seems my insurance policy doesn't allow any wheel over 7.5" width. Since for budget reasons I'm restricted to getting the OEM replica's only the Detroits come in 7.5". All the others are 8.0" wide. I would have to change Insurance companies if I wanted anything over 7.5" inches and I'm not prepared to do that as my current policy is fantastic and is about $150 cheaper than any other insurance company.

H&R springs - supposed to be rated at 50mm all round but after installation I only got about 35mm up front and about 15mm in the rear.

Cost me $1500 delivered to my door with Falken 912 tyres from Tempe Tyres. Had a choice of either KumhoKu31's or the Falken 452s for that price but after reading a few opinions and reviews I decided on the 912's. They are apprently very hard wearing and super quiet - probably not as performance orientated as the others but I don't plan on a racing so the 912's seem fine to me.
