    Wheels for a Mk6 Golf R?

Want a 2nd set of wheels (18's will do) to use for track and skid pan days so I'm not destroying my 19" street tyres.

Notice there are plenty of people selling factory R32 18's or things like RS4/RS6 replicas which would be suitable as they're cheap enough (and don't care about a bit of gutter rash etc). Does anyone know if these fit and suit the required offset? I got no idea what size/offset I need for the car to be honest.

Width will be similar and offset similar with R32 18s. Audi reps for Golfs will fit too. I'm not sure on the weights of these but I would xpect them to be on the heavier side, plus side being they are strong.

Was chatting with the dealer who said the same thing. GTI/GTD 18's etc would fit as well. Next time I'm down there, I'll get them to test fit some wheels. Prefer not to go with dodgy chinese copies so happy to spend a bit more on some OEM wheels.

Get the TEAM Dynamics pro race wheels then, good money, bit lighter, favoured by plenty at tracks.

While looking for reps, I found that a lot came in either 35 offset or 45-50 offset.
    with a 18 x 7.5 or 18 x 8 go with the 45-50 offset. 1 run 18 x 8, 50et and 225/40 x 18 and on standard GTI ride height have no problems with rubbing, even with 3 people in the back.

The 35 offset is typically audi or passat....

19 x 8.5 ET 45 on dad's mkv gti if that helps (same fitment specs as mk6) on kw v3 coils
