Wheel Widening in SA? Or failing that, in Aust?

    Hey all,

I have a question that I'm sure has bee asked before. I have a set of Work Equip 03s that I would like to have widened. These wheels are 2 or 3 peice (not sure). The wheel face (the bit the studs go through) can be un bolted from the barrel (the thing that the tyre sits on). I was wondering if anyone knows where I can have new custom barrels/lips made in South Australia? I want that sweet sweet offset...

If anyone knows anywhere that is good quality and reasonably priced in Australia feel free to let me know.

Any information would be much appreciated. '
    Cheers

Seen quite a few people have done wheels for there Multivans and thinking of doing a set for mine.

    Cheers Rob

There is a place on South Road, its called Adelaide Wheel & Rim Works. Phone: 83526266

At: 308- 310 South Rd, Richmond, SA 5033

I am pretty sure that they can band steels.

I contacted them with my request above and they said that it was not possible. Sounded like they just didn't want to do it...

Go to Extensives, across the road.

Not a particularly smiley bloke, but they do a VERY good job.

<edit> Galaxy wheels, were down Dry Creek way?
    Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.

Went to Galaxy (now Galpro) and they said that they could not do it unless they sourced the rim halves from the original manufacturer (Work Wheels) and this would be very expensive/impossible...

    Will give extensives a go.
