Wheel whores - What are these please?

Saw this set of Schmidt's in PVW.
Perhaps something to look forward to.

    TIA,
    Mal

Don't think they're Schmidts, just retrofitted Schmidt caps.

Pretty unique design, most meshes are Y-spoke but these are X-spoke (Hotwires?), and those separations in between the bolt holes seem pretty unique too... Compomotive made similar wheels?

Edit: Epsilons look similar too, but they don't cave in around the stud pattern area:

    Thanks for the in-focus shot..

BBS made a wheel damn near identical to that. Definitely not Schmidts but.

The shape around the bolt holes looks very BBS/Mahle..

Could also be a japanese brand too.. The machined face points towards Jap style..

Mahle make forged products. Wheels, pistons etc etc. They do magnesium wheels too.

Google Mahle wheels, you'll crack a chubby one.

    Wow even you aren't sure!

Next question, any tips on searching for these kinds of wheels?

Will check up on 5x100 classifieds on vortex anyway....

I've got some refurbed gold centred, Porsche BBS Mahle 15x7's (2) and 16x7s (2) if you are interested.. 5x130 ET25 so would need to be redrilled..

4 brand new centres included too.

    Have you got pics Chris?
Hmm, even if i acquire the wheels soon, I would probably leave them as is, original. Run adapters. I'd probably enquire about you doing them too

    Pics added..

You can get 10mm steel adapters apparently.. That would make them ET15. I'm not sure how big you can go on a Mk3 without scrubbing. Up to you dude.

I can't make adapters as cheap as off the shelf ones. If you can buy them off the shelf, do that.
