    there are two types, some you can get will bolt the spacer to the hub, and then either via studs or a second set of bolts the wheels are bolted to the spacer. This is generally the setup used on adapters where PCD is converted.



    Then there is also just the spacer and longer bolts (which will probably be for you)
    These will often come with two sets of holes (mine have 5x100 and 5x112) so with one set of extended bolts they can be used on different cars (and makes them easier to sell later on...)

    Does anyone know where else I can get H&R 20mm DRA spacers They're on back order at ecs! Volkswagen R32 MKV 3.2 > Wheels > Spacers > HR > ES#5111 DRA Series Wheel Spacer - 20mm (1 Pair) - 40555712

    I wonder what the go is with regards to the legality of running adapters. As it's actually bolted to the hub and thus therefore should become part of the hub assembly when fitted. Then your wheel bolts to this hub assembly, no "spacers" used !.

    I have a feeling adapters are legal but spacers are not. Don't quote me on that, though.
