    Wheel source in AUS

    Hi guys,
As some of you may know already my rim was gutter rashed by my sister and as a result i was thinking of painting them black.
After mulling the idea around i'm thinking maybe save the extra bit and get a set of 18's or 19's.
I looked around and really like the BBS CH and CK's but theyre very expensive and have been "overdone" imo.
So I kept looking and found a look I reallyy liked.... a set of O.Z Superturismo GT or LM!
    Fallen in love!
My question here is where can i source a set of these rims or even a set of reps for a decent price?
Only place I really know is tirerack.com....just shopping around.
    Thanks

I believe Jax Quickfit may have some on the cheap, they have been known to have specials where tyres or wheels are almost half price.
    Maybe check them out.

    Tirerack are pretty good though.
If you can get them to ship the wheels in sets of 2 as to not incur duty/gst that may help as well.

As I just found out tirerack.com wont ship certain brands of wheels to Australia, BE by Breyton isnt allowed and I dont think OZ is allowed either.

The way to get around this is to open an account with a shipping forwarder such as shipito.com (which I am using) and get them to forward the package from the US. shipito.com will let you fill out your own customs declarations (including value) and let you repackage the wheels as you see fit (ie send 2 wheels then later another 2 wheels).

I have used shipito.com before for heap of snow gear including a snowboard and their rates are quite good, they have a calculator on their site. I will let you know how much my 18" Breytons cost to get here.

OK the packages were just shipped via Fedex by Shipito.com. Tirerack charged US$40 to ship to the Shipito warehouse in Torrance CA. From there it cost US$344.02 to ship to my door (Newcastle, postcode 2290).

Note that with Shipito they give you an estimate for shipping the parcels once they have them and you pay them that amount but it quite often works out cheaper so you end up with credit which you can have refunded (there are fees to refund).

Dimensions and weight of packages, 2 wheels in each -
    60.40 lbs (27.39 kg)
    21"×21"×21" (54×54×54 cm)

    56.40 lbs (25.58 kg)
    21"×21"×21" (54×53×53 cm)
