Ouchie man...even for a $200 settlement they're still ripping you off big time as it'll cost a lot more than that to fix all four wheels. Lucky you didn't settle for it. WIsh you all the best and hope they either fix all 4 properly to your satisfaction or better still replace all 4. I completely agree with Pierre about the walk around at the time of drop off so there's no dispute later. Happened to my Polo on first inspection service where they kerbed/scratched on wheel and scratched the front bumper and tried their best to deny it.

Guys, the wheels aren't damaged enough to warrant full replacement - anyone trying to get that is wasting their time. In reality, all the shop HAS TO do is repair the damage. Anything else you get out of them is their good will.
Think of it this way: if someone reverses into you and your front bumper needs replacing, would be reasonable to demand they replace your whole car?
And 99% of tyre shops send wheels off to a repair shop. I'm aware of only a few tyreshops who do their own repairs/machining/painting.

which tyre shop is this in Brisbane?? you should let us all Brissy people know so we won't bother visiting that place for replacing tyres.
i know some places in Sydney are just plain hopeless and don't care about customers' wheels at all.
but Spinning Wheels in Waterloo Sydney is known to be excellent and they have dealt with super expensive wheels (ADV forged / Rays forged / TSW forged) without damaging or leaving any marks.
i am keen to know if there is such a similar place in Brisbane, a tyre shop who cares about their customers wheels and have the skills / tools / machine to strip and fit tyres flawlessly as VAG factory quality.
