    wheel bolt question

    hey all

    i have OEM wheel bolts and as some of you know im getting the 16'' RS reps

    could i use the OEM bolts for the 16's? would the center cap fit

    anyone who has RS/RM's ??

    I used the same lugs when I had my aftermarket BBS wheels, though they had one less thread in comparison to the stock 14's I had. Have a compare first. I'm not sure, but I've heard that 7.5 threads is the minimum?

    Oh, and the centre-cap fit on fine.

    just be careful.... if you need a longer bolt, just go buy some from a tyre/wheel place, they aren't expensive. i'd make sure you have plenty of lenth rather than not enough.

    I know we were very lick Burwins had way to many extra genuine VW wheel nuts so we got some cheap...

    Just ring up spares to get an idea on $$$

    Head's up Dom.

    If the bolt's are too long, they can interfere with your rear drum brake internal's. Doesn't matter if it has rear disc's fitted though.

    I went with bmw wheel bolt's. They are a little longer than standard & are powder coated black.
