wheel adaptor/ spacer options for mk2 golf with BBS RS

    Hey guys,
    After some advice.
I have recently fitted some BBS RS to my Mk2 golf, which required redrilling from 4x114.3to 4x100 and required hubcentric rings to fit (57.1mm to 67mm)
The wheels are 15x6.5 +17mm. I am quite happy with how well they sit on the front of the car, but would like to bring them out a litte more on the rear to keep them 'flush' all round.
Basically what i want to know is; what is the best option/ type of spacer to use?
If i use a hubcentric 57.1 mm centrebore spacer for example, the hubcentric rings wont fit over the chamfer of the spacer? I dont think anyway..
And if i decide to use a bolt on spacer, im pretty sure minimum thickness is 25mm or so to clear the heads of the lugs bolts, where i was hoping to go for about a 15mm spacer.
    Any suggestions would be awesome.
    Cheers.

Stub axle spacers would most probably be your best option.

Instead of sitting behind the wheel rim and mounting to your hub, they sit behind the discs, behind the stub axle, on the rear beam.

They're harder to change/install than regular wheel spacers, but are extremely inconspicuous and wheel fitment remains oem (obviously except for offset)

Ask Alex G to knock you up a set.

I reckon you can do one better and go for bigger lips for the rears! That way, you'll get your flush look as well as a nicer dish and some width to allow for some tyre stretch. And you won't have to run spacers It will cost more than spacers though...

    i like rays idea
otherwise adaptec speedware do 15mm adapters that the bolts site 'flush' inside the adapter itself (good for flat back wheels like what you have), you could also get them to include the larger centre bore in the adapter.

I did actually think about bigger lips previously, but now you have me thinking again., it's probably the best option will also mean more width on the wheels and maybe a small amount of tyre stretch.. Which is ok in my books

Should be able to comfortably take them to 8's more with some work.
