VW Golf 90TSI - Wheel Suggestions.. LOST!

    Hey Guys,

I just bought this car! VW Golf 90TSI - Wheel Suggestions.. LOST!-2013-12-05-12-25-36-jpg

I'm just wanting to make it look a little more sportier. I'm going to get the windows tinted, but apart from that the only real thing i can change on the outside is the wheels. Just wanted suggestions on which ones look good and what size to go to without losing too much of the comfortable ride.

I tried looking through these threads but just got lost in all the mumbo jumbo.
Also I'm in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne so suggestions for good tyre/wheel places would be appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot about suspension! Need to know if I'll need to upgrade my suspension too.

    Thanks guys,
    Cody

lowering isnt essential, but will help the look (as said above)
just google if you have no idea where to start, ateast gives you some idea of what style of wheel you want

    depends on what you want.
can get some hektic rims from bob jane, or if you want BBS/rotiform/1552 and so on you are better looking over seas.

springs... check out eibach or H&R and see who their distributors are in melbourne/AUS

you'll need to work out your stud pattern ie 5x100, 5x112 etc).

jlswadling has advised you need offset of ET45

Check out this crowd in the UK

    BMW MINI, BM Autosport Ltd

I purchased a great set of high quality BBS replicas from them (knock 20% VAT off their listed prices and add around $300 for airfreight
