Hey All
Recently I've installed some SPAX lowering springs that have given me approximately a 30mm drop all round. It isnt exactly what I was hoping and I've got the itch to drop it a bit lower.
Rather than going coilovers (as I have good quality Bilstein shocks in there) whats everyones thoughts/experiences with lowering caps?
From what I gather you can just remove the old hat on the front strut and replace it with this thinner cup?
Heres and example of one.

A 10-15mm drop on the front would be all im after... Thanks in advance!

I've never tried those as I usually go straight for coilovers (which uses its own top spring cap) but I have replaced my standard front strut mounts for Polo 6N ones instead, and they provided a decent drop too. It just replaces your current rubber mount, but it uses the same bearing. I've used it with good results; no knocking, no problems. I've removed it after a few thousand kms too, and it still looks fine, with the bearing still working as it should.
