suspension bushes? ball joints?
Hi everyone,
Having a really really frustrating issue at the moment when turning right at speed, roundabouts, etc.
Theres a very noticeable vibration that feels like its coming from the front left side, almost like it's driving over rocks or uneven surface and can feel it all up the pedals, and passengers feel it too.
I have had my:
- CV joints replaced
- Engine and transmission mounts replaced
- Wheel bearing replaced
- Upper strut mounts replaced.
- Multiple re-alignments
My car is lowered on Bilstein b14 Coil overs, 18 inch wheels.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have spent so much so far to try and fix this I'm going crazy.

So Volkwerke have diagnosed it to be the steering rackwill be replacing soon.
Hubcentric rings broken/missing?
Replaced the steering rack, issue still there. Replaced lower ball joints too, seems to have gotten a bit better, but still there when going through large roundabouts.
Anyway to diagnose that strel?
What are the tyres like? Scallop'd on the inside edges?
Are the ABS and ESP lights coming on when it happens?

Have you rotated the tyres (front to rear) to see if the issue persists? If it does, you can rule out the rubber and rim. If it doesn't, you've just narrowed down your culprit...
Cheers
the rack replacement is overkill unless it had that much freeplay and you simply couldn't align it without replacing. Saying its the rack simply because you have maybe a gen 2 rack is bs. Take it to a proper suspension specialist (not pedders ffs). You say you had multiple re-alignments? Aus cars will always track slightly to the left.

I'd probably look towards the rear front lower control arm mounts, or castor brackets. At least they're cheap and easy to swap over.
