    Tyres for 205/45 R16

    Hullo

I'm up for a set of new tires sometime before years end. Currently I've got Pirelli P-Zero Nero's which are close to the wear indicators all round. Great tires, although a bit on the noisy side. FANTASTIC grip in the wet as well. Apparently, Pirelli does not make them in my size anymore. Which leaves me wondering, what else to go for?

Budget wise I don't want to spend crazy amounts.

be careful to get something with the correct load rating. The choices are surprisingly small.
I went for michelin pilot precedas. Which are ok. Not the best but not the worst. The new version is sposed to be better though. I think in that size theyre around $250 per corner.

    whats your budget?

Yeah not many choices in that size.
We have the same size on the wifes 16v Tolly and I just got a set of American Hercules brand tyres.
They are load rated, directional and have a water dispersant tread.
I paid $115 each for em.
    3000kms on we are happy.

I will have to look properly but I have Yoko's for $110 and they were a 215/40/16.

They also had them in a 205 for the same price, but none when I was there.
