    TOYO vs FALKEN 16's content

    hey all

    i have 16x7 wheels

im indecisive in between these 2 tyres

TOYO PROXES T1R in 195/45R16 $180 per corner
    and
    FALKEN ZE329 in 195/45R16 $160 per corner

i would like to know about favors and comments about comparing both together

my main issue is sidewall flex with stretching, witch one will be esier to stretch and witch will look better

    cheers

Mate I can say that Falken's suck a#%e!

My Audi came with a brand new set of Falken's ZE's & all I can say is "I've had retread's on my dirty old ute that have handled better!"

    Thumbs up

I am Falken tyres fan, I first had them in the early 90's. I have currently got 329s 14*6 on the front of the Little Beastie, and they a great value for money. the both were and handle well in the wet and the dry.

I've had no experience with either, but I'd go T1R. However, I've looked for that size as well and I've went to places that offered me $170/tyre for the T1R! Look around a bit more

The Toyo T1R's have a lot of very good reviews & probably are top in their price range. They have been shown to be by far the best in aqua plan conditions against a lot of other brands when tested
I have had 2 sets in 15 x 195 x 50 & found the best all round tire to drive on, ATM I am running bridgestone ponteza g3 in a 16' & they don't come any near the toyo TR1, when I run them out I will most likely replace them with the Toyo's
Comparing toyo to falcon is chalk & cheese
$180 is a good price for the quality of product you will end up driving on

    I have 205/45/16 T1R's on mine.
Toyo's are a good tyre for the $. Sidewalls are a tad soft though, but good grip wet or dry.

On most of the UK VAG forums and the VASK one in NZ, the T1R rates well.
A good thread to start is one titled 'best tyre under $200'
