Stock Shocks

hey guys ive just put some H & R Springs onto my polo gti with the stock shocks. just wondering how long the shocks will last before i need new ones? i only drive on the street and do not plan to track the car.

Its difficult to answer this question as there are a lot of variables. How you drive your car, how much load your carring and what the roads are like in your area make a difference.

I would expect the shocks to last anywhere between 60,000kms and 80,000. When and how you determine they are stuffed is another thing alltogether. Shocks dont just collapse suddenly, and what may be stuffed to fussy person may be "good for another 15,000kms" to another person.
