Steel wheel rim for Tiguan?

Hi everyone and apologies if this is an often asked question - I did search before posting.

I am trying to buy a plain steel wheel rim for my MY09 Tiguan. The one I'm after is a 16" and from the info elsewhere on these forums, I believe the specs are as folows:

16 x 6.5" ET33, 5 x 112, Centre bore 57.1.

I tried getting one from my dealer, who unfortunately wasted about 10 days only to tell me that VW have none, and now I'm getting kind of desperate because I am supposed to be leaving for central Australia on the weekend.

I am in the north east of Vic but will drive to Melbourne to get one. If anyone can put me in touch with a supplier or knows where I can get one soon, I would be most appreciative.

Look at the ebay. For the cost of the new steel rim and the tyre, you could have 4 alloys with the tyres. I also will be on the hunt for a full size spare wheel, when our Tig arrives in 2 months.

Thanks for the reply Transporter. VW quoted me $130 for a steel rim and I bought a tyre already because the dealer told me they could get a rim, so I doubt that a set of eBay wheels will be cost effective for me. Hope your two month Tig wait is not too tough on you. I know mine went pretty slowly.

Just a friendly bump to see if anyone else might have an idea of where I might get a wheel in Melbourne.
