    Spacers Anyone??

I have recently put new tyres on my RS4 and some coilovers go on next monday.

Now, once the coilovers are don I was considering some spacers to give me the perfect wheel gap.

Well it turns out, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric2s I've just purchased are actually about 20mm wider than the same size Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric1s I'm replacing, mainly because of the massive rim protectors on them.

So if you are considering putting some spacers on your wheels, which are technically illegal, can I recommend that you first have a look at these goodyears. they are a fantastic performing tyre, especially in the wet, very well priced, and you may just be able to kill two birds with one stone.

It's amazing how different tyres can be even when they are the same written size.
I had two nankangs, both 225/35, one the older ns2, other the revised version (ns20)
Went from being able to roll aired out, to being beached on the tyres.

As a rule semi slicks are wider then most, and kumho tend to be a big bigger then marked from what I've found.

Those assymetrics are stupid big though. I had 235 stated size, they physically measured 265mm
