More so the more you learn the more you know, and the more you notice how much a lot of other people DON'T know.. And that's not directed at you.

jesus. i cant get ANYTHING to stretch on a 6.5".

cant even get a decent tyre like 205/45/15 to fit on my oem rim.

but i'll choose grip where i can. just me. stretch looks sick, though.

What profile, though dude? 165 65's would be ok.. But something like a 165 40 would be insane.

Thanks for that Rat, backs up my thoughts of this silly trend mate.
I have written 3 replies here but thought the better of posting them, so I will just say thanks.
Of course some here know a lot better than the tyre manufacturers and authorities, just hope they never ever become involved in any serious crashes using undersized tyres...

I stretch tyres, and I know the problems associated with it - in fact, I made sure I knew before doing it! It's something I choose to do, and if something goes wrong then it falls down to me having taken the risk in the first place.

But its the other people you might hit.....Fill in other words here.... that dont have a choice.

I am not saying you are wrong or right but saying "me having taken the risk in the first place." is a little lame in my eyes.

Same goes with anyone who speeds, or answers phone calls or texts while driving, or people who eat behind the wheel, or careless people who don't pay enough attention. Risks are risks. I won't justify why I do it to people on a forum because I don't need to.
