should i impulse buy? listen to my head or heart?

Holly crapola! here's the thing people; I've wanted a second det of street shoes for the golf so I can leave the semi slicks on the regamasters and just change'em over at trackside, i think i may have found them! Though I think they'll get really mixed reactions, they're an old design, mirror polished face with machined lip, multi-piece in 17x7.5 et17 and 17x8 et10 (with adapters), so quite conservative widths but will still allow for some stretch and aggressive offsets for that poke, they're $900 though i'll try and get'em cheaper if i'm to go through with them.

Should I make an impulse buy or not?! will I hate myself later for not spending it on getting the mechanicals of the vr done?

No pics sorry as it'd be laugh out load kick in the arse to some people when I run them, but I feel they'll work in a stupid way go with my head or heart?!

Do it Alex, good wheels are so damn hard to find these days and you can always on sell them if need be.

If women can't never have too many handbags or pairs of shoes.... then men can't ever have too many sets of wheels... simple

hard to give input without seeing the design.

Do you look at these wheels and think "Yep thats as best as its ever gonna look" ? Personally im not a huge fan of highly polished wheels.
If youre doing a lot of track work then the second set of wheels is a probably a necessity.

But to me the fact that youre asking if these wheels are the right one for you means youre unsure. If youre unsure it usually means youre not 100% convinced u like them!?

Show us some damn pics already!

mate you have good taste so i am sure they will rock...

if you want them and you didnt get them, would you be pissed later? if so, grab them... if not, keep the money and keep saving until something else comes along...

i got ripped $4000 on a set of rims from the states.. i got $1500 back... thats when you hate the sight of a set of wheels on every car who has them but then fall in love with them all over again...

Yeah dude, agreed. I think it's too hard to judge and give you an opinion based on YOUR opinion it's just getting a bit too opinionated.

The size sounds nice, I know you're pretty out there with your wheel taste but we will all flame you if we don't think they look nice rest assured, you'll find the right decision.

To be honest, i think wheels need to be at least 5 spoke to look good.

Tri-spokes look really ugly to me and quad spokes are even worse.
