It's good to give them a clean once in a while as dirt and grime tend to settle around the threads especially where the spring perches are. Would be good to use anti-seize on the threads to prevent any corrosion, even if they are made of stainless steel or some other anti-corroding material. As for the strut internals that do the dampening and such, if they don't feel like they used to, it may be a good idea to have them checked by a professional and revalved if required. How long is the warranty period on Weitecs?
