    Question PSI on stretched tires

    I'm running Porsche D90's 16x8's with 16x7 tires.

Basically I've never had stretched tires before, so my question is:

Is there a certain PSI I should be running at or is it the same as a normal fitted tire? IE: 32psi

Sorry if this has been asked before.

What are your tyre specs btw?

I would run a bit higher than that maybe 37psi as you always want the tyres to be filled to minimise the chance that the stretched tyres will pop off the bead of the rim under load.

Dont forget to regularly check tyre pressure but as long as its not crazy stretch i wouldnt worry too much.

I used those same tyres (but 195/50R15) over 15x8. I ran 36 psi most times and regularly checked on them. You can still run 32 psi if you want but as long as you keep a constant check on that, you won't have any problems.

Checked the psi on the way home from work today and the front was 36 and the back 37, brought the backs down to 36 and seems a much smoother ride.
