    Positive camber MK3.

I've just changed my front struts and strut bearings then two new front tyres and alignment done. Alignment was done at Bob Jane who I am happy with and have used them previously. The front drivers side has positive offset. How could this be rectified? It is +39'. They didn't really offer anything in the way of a fix, if it needs it. Car is a cabrio 97.

Go back an tell them it's not within factory specifications, and they should fix it. Specs should be in the manual, or service book maybe.

Bentley has the specs and shows what appears to be a fix for too much negative camber. ie push the wheel out from the body. I'll check with my mech next week.
    Thanks.

there is a small amount of camber adjustment available in the mk3 front end.
If they are having trouble getting a little more neg camber on that side make sure they realise that the ball joint bolts are actually in a slotted hole so you can get a bit more adjustment down there.
