    Question Polo wheel bolts?

    Hey all,

    Does anybody happen to now whether the a Polo 9N3 uses Ball-Seat bolts or Conical ones?
    did a search and couldn't find much

    Take one of the wheel bolts out and check mate!

    I THINK they're conical...but you can't quote me on that.

    i think all stock wheels use ball-seat bolts and most aftermarket wheels are conical

    thanks guys. i would take one off, but thought someone might know off the off the top o their head.

    plus i dont have a driveway... just Bleustone gutters on a 45 degree slope.

    i didn't know there were different types....

    what is the difference between the two??

    Conical seat lugs/nuts have a slanted (straight) seat whereas ball seat lugs/nuts have a rounded seat. Conical seats are most often used for alloys/aftermarket wheels whereas ball seat mostly for steel wheels.
