Hi all
I am looking to purchase a new set of 18inch wheels. I am particularly interested in the Motorsport, Anthracite alloys.
Would it be better to shop around from dealer to dealer or order them online from somewhere? Are there any recommended websites? Or should I also approach wheel specialists such as Bob Janes?
Also if anyone has any price indications for a set of 4 please also let me know. Thanks

Thanks Corey. I've visited that page previously however wasn't sure if those prices are indicative of what I would pay in oz.
thats seriously rude for an 18" rim. plenty of other brands of rims out there for far less money that are better imo
>$900 each is definately a rip off. Came across this website but don't know how geniune it is;
Volkswagen Parts | Genuine OEM Parts - VW Performance Accessories
Based on the US i believe.
About $500 each although the shipping cost would add a lot to it.
give Ian @ Rennenhaus Home - Rennenhaus an email and see what he can do for you
Whilst many of you are saying that $900 is rude, $900 is about what everyone pays for other "name brands" made from the same factory (BBS Germany). So...
actually corey, $900 would be what you would pay if u chose to buy locally. but some, me included have managed to buy from overseas and bundled the rubber with rims for that price.
so imo, $900 for just rims is pushing the friendship a little
well that's another issue that is beyond the scope of this thread...
1100 from vivid racing buys LMs, why people would pay 800 for CH's is beyond me lol.
As I said, shoot Ian an Email and I'm sure he will be more competitive than the stealer. He is a VWR UK distributor.
I also don't know why the OEM wheels (Talladega's etc) are worth so much. They are everywhere/easily accessible etc...
