    New wheels for the R36....

So after a long long wait I had my new wheels installed today, only one crappy iphone pic though...

Stats: ADV.1 10.1 Forged one piece, 19x8.5 running on 235/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sports, car is sitting on H&R springs for a small drop too, not sure if its enough though...

    bad iphone shot...

Honestly, doesn't look the million bucks they are apparently worth. HRE's (even the ugly ones) or similar at least "look" special.

Looks good, but i'd want a lot more for spending that sort of money on wheels.

You know the 20x9/11 Bimoto's would have looked better on the 36 by far Nath

Springs don't cut it either, need coils at the minimum.

u said what a lot of people think. i agree, for all the money they cost, they look no more special than some rays engineering rims which would be half the cost

Well for starters they didn't cost a million bucks and are far cheaper than HRE which I think are all ugly. If you want the overstated bling with the high cost you can go the three piece forged in a number of designs, I prefer the understated, and again wheels are a personal choice.

I agree on the springs, will wait a few months though before making a coil move. As for the bimoto, they're more expensive and arent forged so the choice there is pretty easy.

Yeah RAYS would have look similar but having touched both, I prefer these, and if you go the right way about it the cost isn't as high as advertised.

I think the wheels look hot Nath!
I've seen them in life and the photos don't do them justice!

Hot wheels Nath, when you get a chance get that BBK to set them off!

I reckon they're a good design, not a fan of the colour combo but each to their own. Nice choice on the tyres. Get a decent pic up of the whole car and people might change their tune

Bloke at work with an R36 was looking for wheels for ages and its funny how varied personal preference on wheels can be. Every suggestion I gave, he didn't like and every one he asked for an opinion I didn't like hehe.

    According to here:
    MTM > Products > MTM Bimoto Rims - 18, 19, 20, 21 inch

Bimoto 19s and 20s are forged?

I have been there, the shop is awesome!

Forged is such a consideration, track?

Just sounds like you wanted to buy the ADV.1's to be part of the crowd Nath, thought you were outside the box with your previous Bimotos.

At least people know RAYS and know they are the shiz, they don't look special enough for your car at all oh well. Long as you're happy!
