    New wheels for my MKVI

    Hi all,

Took some advice after doing some reading on the forum regarding Tirerack.com.

Contacted them last week to order new wheels and tyres. Ended up buying H&R springs too.

They are being shipped end of this week and they reckon 3-5 days shipping. Hopefully in a few weeks it will be looking sexy. The car is candy white.

    & here are the wheels!

Will get some pics up once it is all finished.

    Edit:

Not a bad choice at all, looks pretty swish.

Finally put the wheels on on Friday. Looks awesome. Just need to install the springs now.

Got f.chef with the duty etc. Shipping was $350 us for the wheels tyres and springs.

Got charged gst from customs of $205. $40 duty and then $89 from AQIS. What a joke. They charged me $89 to xray the package. Very angry. Isn't it there job at quarantine to check this stuff. Why should we have to pay.

Anyway wheels look great. Will post up pics once lowered.
