Mesh or multispoke tends to work quite well on Euro cars. I've been lusting over TWS Nurburgrings for a while - very similar design to yours.

Oh yeah, huge fan of BBS! I'm currently waiting on brochures from them as we speak.

As such there will be less "flex" from the tyres and the ride will feel bumpier.

I would say max 18's for comfort and 19's if you want the look more than comfort.
    Thanks

Update. Am lowering with Eibach springs and decided I want to buy new 19'x 8.5' wheels with Offset of 35.

    This calculator

PCD Vol...012 - ) wheels -Wheel-Fitment.com - PCD, Offset and Center Bore data

tells me that the stock offset for my car is 42.

The current stock wheels/tyres are not flush with the fender and I'm hoping the new ones will 'poke' out closer to the fender. From this calculator

    http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...&Submit=Submit

it appears that the new set up will put the outside edge of the wheels/tyres 1.3cm further out toward fender.

Can anyone tell me what the best tire size and Offset for a 19'x 8.5' wheel would be in order to be 'flush' with fender (horizontally). I'm not uptight about 'no gap' vertically. Apparently spacers are illegal in Australia??

Doing the springs at Ramspeed on Friday but hoping to order wheels before then. I asked them the question above but (surprisingly), they couldn't tell me the answer. They said unless I bought custom wheels from them, they can't help me with this sizing/flush question. I can't afford their wheels. Is there any way other than 'trying them on' that this flush business can be determined. I'm confused.

    Thanks in advance.
