15x8 would be rad on a Mk2... But if u cant get any 15's to modify go with 14" and run 14x7 to be on the safe side... But if your hardcore like most go 8"
Nine is probably the max front and back. You could go silly on the back but they weigh a bit so 15x9 with slighty staggered offsets would be the go I reckon.

hmm, how much do you reckon it'd cost new barrels, powder coat etc, like ray's(the user, not ray wheels)? ha..ha..
i'd love to get some steelies for the mk2. the wheels at the moment, as i've said many times before, look like dead painted spiders.. <shudder> are they still on offer robin?

Don't worry the tyres on my car are about half of what I paid for my car! + wheels and suspension.... and oh oops..
hahahah
Tell me about it. I got some wheels sorted + tyres cost four times the mk1
I hate the saying but "you gotta pay to play"!
You could get away with getting the wheels widened for $145 a wheel (Neale Wheels at South Strathfield and Morton and May at Warwick Farm quoted me that price), then spray can it yourself, or if you're brave enough, run them rat-style without any finish
Im interested in widening steels for my T4 but sold mine not long after i got my rims, anyone got a set they're looking to dump or sumthing. will do one at a time n keep as spares or change overs. Thanx, bTW would this work?
