Hi everyone!

I just thought I'd post up a review of a set of tyres I bought a few years back & the experience I had with them. Haven't seen much online about these tyres in the way of reviews, so I thought I'd contribute.

They are BCT S800 (Beijing Capital Tyres), same tread pattern as Federal 595's.

I had them on a BA Falcon ute as they were cheap at the time I was looking for new tyres & a friend recommended them, being Chinese I wasn't 100% though.

They lasted about 25xxxkm's with a lot of abusive driving (Skids, mountain driving, etc). Near the end of their life the road noise did get worse as expected but it wasn't unbearable. (No worse then my current ER300 at the end of their life on my GTD)

Dry grip is about the same as 595's (Have had 595's in the past & probably from the same factory anyway), the rear end stayed planted even when giving it some though mountains.
I never had any problems in the wet either, still griped well.

You can find them on eBay & etyretoreonline.com.au (company based in Virginia, Qld. They have heaps of different tyres & tread patterns) & they go for about $100-130 depending on sizes.

Not as good as RS-3's or a real semi-slick tyres, but they are good for the driving I do & a cheaper alternative to 595's & personally I think they're just as good. I'll be getting these for my GTD in the coming months when I get some new wheels.

Grip Dry - 8/10
Grip Wet - 7/10
Wear - 8/10
Price - 9/10
Overall - 8/10

Cheers, Chris
