Hoping someone can help... I want to lower my stock GTI with 18 inch Detroits, not slam, but just give it a lower look and improve handling a little.
Narrowed it down to these, but can't work out the difference. I thought the VWR springs would lower more than the DG?? ECS website is confusing me...
VWR Racing Springs (VWRPA004)
Volkswagen Golf VI 2.0T > Suspension > Springs > ES#2631549 VWR Performance Coil Spring Set - VWRPA004
VW Sport Springs (5K4071677B). I'm assuming these are the DG ones..
Volkswagen Golf VI 2.0T > Suspension > Springs > ES#1905259 Volkswagen Sport Springs - 5K4071677B
Would I need to buy any limiting kits for these?

VWR lowers more than DG - the DG springs are designed for non-GTI Golfs (although plenty have used them on GTIs) and thus the height reductions quoted are not comparable to the VWR figure.
As a guide, DG is generally 10-12mm, VWR 20-25mm.
