Fact R32 MK4, has "the same chassis and suspension" as S3 and TTQ, but is a bit heavier, specially on the front axle than the other two. H&R use the same part number #29438-1 for lowering springs for all three, and imho spring rate is too low. Not sure if other spring manufacturers have options... Check out your options before doing anything you might regret in the future. If using lowering springs, I would recomend you upgrade the shock absorbers as well... and if this was my car, would definetly spend the extra $$ and get the right gear. H&R Coil overs are specific to R32MK4, and have main/helper setup for the rear axle, front spring is progressive. At the end of the day, you are trying to make your car better... Also, very important thing ppl overlook when chosing the product... what are you going to achieve, and what is the purpose of the mod? Some make mistake and buy Coil overs and try to keep the standard height which the Coil overs are not designed to do. When you wind the Coil overs up, you end up increasing the rate of the spring, making the ride harsh and bumpy. It's easy to say, get this and that, but mu advice would be talk to people who know suspension before forking out the $$.

It says Golf 5 R32 in the heading and table a bit further down the page, so I think that should solve your problem No.

Balk, dont go cheap on coilovers dude!!! You have one of the best dubs going, it would be a crime to skimp on a good suspension setup.

If you want to taste some KW lurve, I have V2's in mine that can give you an idea of the ride. Trust me, the extra cash is worth it

Thats a great price for 4 tyres and springs, airfreighted ex USA and on yr doorstep in 1 week.

Add to that the savings on the purchase price and it should be a good overall deal.

In the Ozaudi forum, one of the members recently purchased 4 goodyears ex tirerack. The local prices is $840/ea plus F&B. Ex tirerack, Including airfrieght costs, plus local customs and GST, plus local fitting and disposal of the old ones, he saved $1200.

sounds like a bargain to me!!
