225/40/18 i would consider getting 245, but 225 certainly does the job.
I'm about to pull out my 18" wheel under my house somewhere
According to this calculator
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
I can either go 215/40/18 or 225/40/18 with marginally over or under in speedo reading. I'm sure there are plenty of Mk4'er has 18" wheel here, what do you guy use ??

To hijack the thread slightly, I will soon be receiving a set of 18" Oettinger REs for my Bora and am trying to decide on tyres. I was always going to go with 225/40 but am trying to decide on the tyre. Does anyone run Yokohama Advan Sport V103? I have an opportunity to buy them very cheap (comparable to Falkens) and much cheaper than the Michelin Pilot Preceda that are currently on the car.
i have 235/40/18 Bridgestone S-03's. Best tyre i have ever used. And got the set for free!!
