    You make a good point there Tim and you may even be right about this one. But I dont understand what you mean by changing suspension design. Most coilovers are direct bolt in replacement for the factory suspension.

    By the way the car was an EVO 9 TMR 220 bought off the showroom floor.

    Just arrived - raceland MK1 coil overs. Cost me under $600 delivered. Happy camper right here
    MK1 floG soon to have 16v 2L with cable change gbox - need a 16v turbo manifold

    ok guys,

    ive got some news about coilover legalities

    im planning to sell my mk1 with the coilovers fitted, i will also be getting a RWC for the sale, i called up a few ppl who do roadies and asked the legality of coilovers, he said coilovers pass RWC under requirements of: being a straight swap from spring/shock kit, that means the chassis must not be modified in any way to fit coilovers, and the other thing is that it obviously has to be at legal height AND THATS IT! not bad aye.......

    Thats nice to know, thanks for the info! I think i read somewhere on this site that they have to have the second locking nut or a 'pin' to hold the top nut though...?

    Edit: simular to what Jarred said..?

    so how are the raceland coilovers going dude? i'm considering a set... anyone else know much about them?

    raceland are the same as hottuning and technix etc. but not the same as JOM.
